Ignition coil wiring harness

Hi,
I have a bad coil pack on cyl. 6. How do i disconnect the wiring harness without smashing it to bits in frustration? i have tried jamming a screw driver in to release the "tabs" that hold it in all sorts of ways.. if anyone has any hints, it would save me time and frustration.. i was about to cut the wires and splice the new one in..
thanks

Ah yes. I remember the same problem. You're talking about the little connector on the end of the wire. I used a small flat blade screwdriver. It was still tough, but I finally got the connectors apart. Look carefully at your new wire to make sure you're putting the blade in the right spot. I finally got it.
