You really don't know what you're talking about. I don't know how else to say it. I mean, if you really think that animal experiments are done even though they have little to no value and can't answer important questions, then what can I possibly say in response?

In that case, I'm happy to drop the discussion if you are.

So then indulge me on what I don't know, unless you somehow think I am undeserving to learn your profound truth. I am not saying animal experiments have no value, I am not even saying all considered cruel. In fact, if they follow the basic principles of research of making a theory, researching on it in order to affirm a hypothesis and then carry out the research in a controlled or sometimes as well as uncontrolled enviroment thus finding a conclusion most pointless research can be avoided. But saying that all research is done in the up most professional way is about as ignorant as saying all is not.

It is sort of funny how forced me to change my position on this topic, was it intentional? Did you even watch the video, if not perhaps you should considering it is good to aware of what exactly is the subject at hand in order to carry out a discussion on it and while you are at it read my first post in its entirety too.

I find it also funny that most people consider eating insects as not eating meat.

I'm not forcing you to change your position at all. You said in an earlier post that "...animal experimenting has virtually no merit in science today." I asked you to back this up, and instead you posted another opinion that contrasted sharply with your original comment.

No, I have not watched the video, and I already stated as much. But we're not discussing the video - neither of us has referred directly to it. I took issue with your above quote and asked you to back it up. If you're claiming the video as supporting info, then I'm afraid I'll have to wait until after work to see it - as I already explained.

If were not supposed to eat meat, why are animals so delicious?

After watching the whole video, I can say that the image I found most disturbing was the fox being skinned alive for its fur

The video wouldn't play on my laptop, so I thought I would contribute this instead:

When I met Belha, she showed me what proper vegetarian food is like. I don't mean fake meat, soya protein or veggie burgers - that horrid stuff is made by the meat industry as a disincentive.

I mean really good, tasty, wholesome vegetarian food, like Belha's people in India have been eating for centuries. Spicy vegetable curries with flat breads and lentil curries with rice. There is a huge variety of such dishes, it's part of their culture.

Since becoming vegetarian, I enjoy my food more than I ever did before and I'm fitter and healthier because of it.

THAT WILL HAUNT ME FOREVER. D:

Still hungry for meat. I'm more concerned with the golden rule being applied. I don't want to die a slow agonizing death, but quick, possibly explosive one.

Today I decided not to eat an elephant and Bel decided not to eat a rhino. Hope you're feeling hungry.

if you have ever been on a dairy farm cattle farm or any other kind of non corprate farm you would know that alot of the images on the video are isolated cases
