Throttle Position Sensor
Well, I'm finally finishing the setup of my Tec II. One last thing to wire in is the TPS. Does anyone know which wire I should intercept in order to get a position signal back to the ECU. Does anyone have critical information such as what signal is reached when the car goes into "Power Mode" and changes rpm range. It seems like there is a midpoint in the throttle postion too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to crank the turbo/Tec II setup in the next two weeks.
Thanks Chuck D.

Tps
Chuck,
My wiring diagram shows the white wire as the Signal. The book only mentions settings at throttle closed,(10,000 - 12,000 Ohm), and throttle open,(3000 - 5000 Ohm). That is measured between Black and White wire, or pin 2 and 3 on the TPS. I saw nothing on a mid point reading. Hope this helps... Dave |

Thank you.
Excellent. Thanks. I'll try tapping into the white wire.
