5 Speed Neutral Selecting Switch

Hi

I wanted to find out peoples thoughts and for other people considering doing a conversion, that instead of connecting the neutral selecting circuit to the clutch pedal as everyone else has done connecting it straight to the gearbox

The 91 JDM Legacy RS gearbox i used has a circuit that completes when the car is in gear, so i installed a relay and connected the appropriate wires so the car thinks its in drive when it is in gear and in neutral when in neutral. So far no problems with stalling or any other effects, haven't driven it much tho.

Thought this is easier than adding switch to clutch pedal.

I use that switch for the cruise control. If someone knocks it out of gear my cruice kicks off.
