Question Changing rear diff. final ratio

I now have a 92 SVX 4eat but want to know if the rear diff. can be changed from the stock 3.454 to 4.11? I am biding for a 2002 Impreza RS2.5 5 speed manual transmission and want the rear diff. to match, can this be done?. What would be needed? How big of a job would it be?

Here is my version of what need to be done for a rear swap. It is not that hard. Instructions for Rear Swap
To ensure that you have the correct size rear make sure that the rear has a bolt on side plates. Like this one
