Question Idle Studdering

I finally finished replacing my right exhaust cam. Did not take to ling to but back together, around 4 hours. I also removed the intake to fix an oil leak on the IRIS thingey too. Several of the vacuum lines broke so I replaced them with non-subie ones.

The car started up fine, the rpm's jumped to about 2 grand and them back to 1000 rpm. It was about 20 deg too. I took her out for a drive and she ran great. It is awasome to have all the power back. When the car warmed up and I was sitting at a light the rpm's would hit rock bottom then 750 rpm, o then 750, 0 then 750.

I had to use the gas to help settle her down. Any thought on this. I double checked the vacuum line and I am not missing any and they are on per the diagram. I am very confused.

Does the sub-gear on the intake cam have anything to do with idle?

Steve

Significant Technical Input
Sounds like a vacuum leak or something is unplugged/plugged in incorrectly.

OK I just fixed it. I had to remove the EGR hard tube when I removed the intake manifold. The metal gasket slipped when I was installing the bottom washer. There was a large vacuum leak. Car idles perfect now.
