You go boy! i took the civil service test and that was pretty easy, you should do fine!

Just got back in from my exam. I think I did really well. It was alottttttt of reading though. The memory part of it wasnt too bad....we had to memorize a story instead of a picture. No math questions...it was all reading and answering situations. Wasn't too bad....i guess i'll know in a few months . I have the NYPD exam in february. ...kind of excited for it as crazy as that sounds. Ive wanted to be a cop since i was 4....hopefully everything will work out that way

Lightbulb NYPD test
Get the study book for the test, and remember its not what you think that they want to know it what they ask you from what the question has in it. I've taken civil service tests and worked for NYC for 17 years before my back was broken, but that another story. Get the study book and read it whenever you can. Good luck, you can do it.

Yea the book is very helpful. Teaches you what they want to know in every question....teaches ya how to take apart every question. The only thing that got to me about the test was the xtensive reading lol. After question 18 i was soooo tired....and there was 75 on the test!
