Why no P/W or roof?

Anyone know why I wouldn't have power windows or roof,
all of a sudden? Everything else is fine. I can detect a slight
noise, as if it's trying. TIA, and hello to all of you "old-timers"!

The power windows and power sunroof both get their power from a circuit breaker and relay that are underneath the driver's seat. One or both of these parts might be bad. Mine were. Unfortunately, you have to unbolt the driver's seat to get at them. They are actually mounted under the carpet by the left, front seat bolt.

You can also check fuse number 15 in the fuse box behind the left side of the dashboard. It provides power to the relay.

Thanks Bill. I had eight inches of water in my garage last month:
I think the SVX is 5.2 or something like that. It makes sense that
anything electrical beneath my seat would go; I wonder why it worked for a month? My ABS light was on for a month, now that's gone....hmmmmmm, maybe there is a connection. Or rather a bad connection! I made an appt. for next week.........

Actually, the wife just pulled in with it, (I let her drive it
once in a great while....) and she said everything is fine now.
WATER and ELECTRIC don't mix. I'm sure the day after my appt., it will quit again; and I refuse to be one of those people that has to open their door at the drive-thru window! Actually I'll keep the appt., for the oil change, tire rotation, and a brand-new loaner!

Mine was intermittent too before it finally went. I pulled it out and two of the four terminals on the relay were completely corroded and gone. It was a wonder that it worked at all.
Good luck.

Oh yeah, those two parts are around $100 from a dealer. I think one was $35 and the other $60. You may need a little wiring splice. Maybe two hours of labor total.
