Talking a fun way to kill your drivetrain

All you AWDs wish you could do this

it rained the other day, and just to have some fun, I put it in first and pulled the e-brake. The front tires were smokin!

Hey, that's what my SVX looked like when the power steering hose split!

I think wheel spinning is only cool when you're a teenager. Handbrake turns, on the other hand, scare the living cr4p out of your passengers and are always good for a laugh.

Phil.

you guys know that if you let off the gas and pull the e-brake on a 4eat that the transfer clutches will automatically disengage for the e-brake to avoid damage to the trans

soooo
you can be in a wet situation pull ebrake point the car where you want to go let off the e-brake and floor it and the AWD will reingage on the flooring of the pedal and snap you out of the turn
it's fun haven't done it in the svx but have in the impreza

anyone wanna buy an impreza

I don't think it would work on "a true 4wd", but I can't test the theory because the handbrake doesn't work on our SVX.

Surely in your part of Europe, the roads are slippy enough to try this?

Phil.
