replacing the heater in a mirror?
Hey I hope everyone had a merry xmas. We had a bit of snow here so I was able to get used to the SVX in the snow. I did notice that my drivers side mirror wouldnt heat up. Is it possible to replace the heater element or wiring or does the whole thing need to be replaced? subaruparts.com only sold the whole assembly and its running $160+ .

I'm still waiting for an opportunity to use my heated mirrors. I've had my SVX for 21 months already. I don't even know if mine work. Is the circuit controlled by 1 fuse or 2?

I'd check to be sure that there's a full 12 volts available at the heater before buying a new one.
