external trans cooler
What type. brand, etc. does the group recommend that works the best, or is easiest to install?
While we're at it, how about an external trans filter? Lastly, where can they be purchased? This would go in my 1997 LSI. Thanks and Happy Holidays!! |

Thanks for the info.
How did you mount the cooler and filter? Is your cooler in series or parallel? |

I mounted the cooler between the radiator and the air conditioner condenser and it is run in series with the OEM cooler. I mounted the filter under the batter between the engine and the radiator. This is where the OEM external filter kit would go if you have one.

I have the B&M inline with the stock cooler mounted in front of the condensor.

Thanks guys!
My 97 should have a factory external filter I think, but I have not yet looked. Should I bother installing another aftermarket filter, or perhaps the factory one is poor quality and just replace it? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.!! |
