Re: this is a funny read
Haha, I like that guy. The text, for posterity:
Behold, this magnum opus of 90's JDM GT coupe madness. The follower to the wacky Subaru XT-6, and the last of Subaru's really 'different' designs. Drives like a Legacy GT Coupe... if they ever made a Legacy GT coupe. Windows look like they belong on an Aircraft. Or a Delorean. In fact the body was styled up by Giorgetto Giugiaro - same sir that came up with the Delorean design, among tons of other Italian supercars back in his day. AKA; Something that's NOT a boring car. There were only 14,000 or so of these made in their entire 6 year run worldwide, so you'd be picking up something quite unique. Now you may be thinking 'oh boo hoo it's an auto, that's not a sports car', well suck it up chief, Subaru only offered the SVX world-wide in Auto because none of their manual transmissions could handle the planet-axis shattering torque this beast of a 3.3 puts out. This is the second largest Subaru passenger car engine made, with the only larger being in the Tribeca. The sound this makes at low rpm's is smile-inducing, and at 4500+ puts an absurd look of sheer OHGODTHISISAWESOME on your face. Full beige leather interior, crazy multiple ceiling-mounted sliding motorized seatbelts, telescopic+tilt steering, super adjustable seats with lumbar, etc, all the 90s JDM luxury goodies are here. Subaru wanted to create the right balance of Luxury, Power, Fun, Class and Design into one vehicle and this was the end result. And hey, it's AWD so it'll be tons of fun in the snow and rain, where you'll probably end up spinning out your S13 that you chose to buy instead into a telephone pole or snowbank instead, or being accordionned in that little Honda hatch that seemed wise until it that grandmother driving a Volvo wagon plows into you. Should've bought the SVX instead. The good: -Rebuilt Engine and Transmission -Recent Full Tune-up. Plugs, Oil, Coolant, Belts -Body in pretty good shape. Roof needs some paint and front left fender could be replaced. -Underbody in EXCELLENT shape What it'll need: -Tires -Front Left Fender (Front tip is a little chewed up) -Brake Pads -Minor Exhaust Stuff -TCU -Speakers -You Driving It 2200 or best offer. Any questions, email me.
