Quick Question
Will changing my "oil pressure sending unit" help stabilize my idle?
cus it only has issues in warm weather...when its below zero it runs like a champ but in warm weather when the oil is thin it runs like crap at idle at speed its fine.

Re: Quick Question
probably not. coolant temp sensor would be more likely to help.

Re: Quick Question
Is that as easy as the later or do I have to take it in?

Re: Quick Question
it's easy. it's on the coolant crossover pipe that runs under the intake manifold. look at the driver side where it is no longer under the manifold. there are two, one for the gauge and one for ecu. don't remember which is which but they are cheap enough to replace both, or wait for someone with a better memory to chime in.

Re: Quick Question
the 2 wire sensor that uses a 19mm deep well to replace is the one to replace.
I've only seen one gauge sensor go bad. |

Re: Quick Question
different parts and don't have to take anything apart, just have the new one ready to stick in and do it on a cold engine so you don't lose coolant.

Re: Quick Question
Make sure that you change it when the engine is cold, and IF it has or NEEDS a copper O-ring.
