Engine Swap Shop Help

Does anyone know someone who can swap an SVX engine (and possibly tranny) from an SVX to an XT6 in or very near Delaware? I am looking to have this done asap. Any help would be appreciated. My old 'wrecked' SVX is still around. Not sure why it took me 8 months to think of this. Thanks!

Re: Engine Swap Shop Help

You have to just call around some engine shops and ask if they want to take on the task. Why not do it yourself? I have a guy who could sell you a stripped svx harness to run a stand alone ecu from the svx. Aren't there some guys on the xt6 sites that have done this?

I'm not mechanically inclined enough to do this task, nor do I have the room. A couple of guys have done it on the site but none are near me. I'd beg TomsSVX on here as I know he could pull it off but he's out of the game as far as I know.

You may want to check with Huck. I know he is busy with work, but over a few weekends he may be able to tackle it. He's a bit far away in eastern Kentucky (Somerset), but I believe was the first to do that swap. You would also have to figure out what transmission setup you would like as the stock XT transmission will not work. Try sending him a PM
