Torn driver's seat..

Is it possible to get my fabric (and vinyl?) seats repaired? I just need a new section of vinyl.. on the entry side of the driver's seat .. where I rub on the outer side (upright) of the back section (rub when getting in/out). The passenger side looks fine.

OR.. Can we get stock covers (skins) to replace the entire seat upholstery (over the stock foam?)?

My car is a definite "driver" .. so, I dont need perfect interior.. I would just like to replace that one vinyl (foam popping out in 2 small holes.. about 1" diameter) section.. ?

Thanks, Jim

Smile Re: Torn driver's seat..

you can look into some sort of vinyl "patch kit" or something to that effect. otherwise i would say you can look for a seat cover, or maybe find a reasonable upholstery shop, then again i am the kinda guy who would take out both front seats, and move the passenger one over to the drivers side, just so i could still drive the car while the driver seat was getting upholstered.

Re: Torn driver's seat..

Keep an eye out for part outs near you, it would be easiest if you could just replace the entire seat.
