Do you like the stock gears, or do do you prefer the 4.44s?

If you are loaded with money go with the Level10 auto or even LAN's tranny. Level10 is best of the best for autos.

Re: Oh no another..

Thanks for the replies, not into gear changes, just want a reliable powertrain, never heard of level10, will it. Car will not move in any gear, park dosen't lock front wheels, rear driveline disconnected, left front stub axle moves freely in and out of tranny, with engine running after selecting r or d and putting into park it clatters to a stop. OH ya 105k not bad overall, any info on the tranny problems are greatly appreciated. Thanks.................G

OK, first check your axles!
It is probably your front diff, but have someone watch and see if either side axle spin when you have the car in drive, with the engine running, and the brakes are on.

BTW LAN aka mike at ECUTune has stock partial rebuilt transmissions with a MUCH better valve body for $1000.00 plus shipping.

Re: Oh no another..

Car is off the ground on all 4 corners, neither front wheel moves when in gear, left axle is hosed at the wheel side, but seems to be connected. With engine running and in r or d neither axle turns, if I turn the wheel by hand both axles turn? Front diff or tranny? or both, thanks will start researching the 444 swap.............G
