Ramp Recommendations?
Guys,
I've been using Rhino Ramps now for the last several years but recently while using them on my wife's minivan, one slipped out and went under the van, the van consequently came down on it and cracked it. While the Rhino Ramps have been okay and better than the metal ramps I had previous. I have not been completely enamored with them. The single rubber foot on the bottom of the ramps kept falling off and honestly the ramps are damned near unusable without them as they slip incessantly when driving the car up them. If Blitz (the maker of Rhino Ramps) would do a better job securing the single rubber foot and perhaps adding 2 more the ramps would be near perfect. So, that being said, I am now on a search for a better quality ramp than the Rhinos since I need new ones anyway. Anyone have any recommendations? I would prefer to keep them the same or similar plastic material that the Rhinos use. Thanks, Yoshi

Clear silicone caulk sticks those babies in pretty tight.

Re: Ramp Recommendations?
Jack + jack stands. Takes a bit more time to set up, but far safer in my opinion.

Re: Ramp Recommendations?
I use metal ramps at my house for most of the work. They're old but thick as hell.

Re: Ramp Recommendations?
hmmmmmmm....
I have some old rafters that were pulled out of my garage, when they re-did the roof... My wife wants a garden fence, but maybe there will be some left-overs... a nice set of high ramps might work really well... Thanks for the linky.
