Re: Door Panel won't come off...
Some times a person has to take the big step and work out things himself!

Re: Door Panel won't come off...
I guess you haven't pulled many door panels, it is always some kind of puzzle on newer cars. I found the SVX panels to be very, very easy actually. You should pull the panels from an SN95 Mustang, there are no screws.

I'd like to eventually do the speakers in the back but... I have a feeling no write up covers any questions I'd need answered. Wouldn't have done this, but being poor as hell after everything else the car has put me through over the past few weeks, leaves me without much option. Re: Door Panel won't come off...
Yeah the rears are a real PITA, simply because the speaker covers attach from the bottom side. The entire rear deck has to come out. When I did mine, I left the covers unsecured and just kind of sitting on top of the speakers..... and they havent moved an inch. That way next time I can just lift them off and easily swap the speakers out.

My biggest concern is getting the interior side panels out. Last time I tried it drove me nuts because they wouldn't budge an inch, following the write up. Maybe there's more screws again... |

Re: Door Panel won't come off...
I agree So cal, im using double sided tape to hold the plastic on the speakers. The biggest pain about the rears is getting the plastic piece that guides the seatbelt back in place. The side panels have clips in them and come out just far enough and pop back in once the deck is back. Its not too bad, just a lil stuffy working in the back seat on our cars.
