New Noise under acceleration
So, its a pa pa pa sound, that goes faster as I speed up, and slows with the car as well. At first, it was more like a clock ticking...same increase and decrease. Or maybe I have two sounds! Seems to be coming from front wheels, but it only makes a noise when moving, so its hard for me to check.
I assume wheel bearings, or bushings, etc, not an engine problem, as wouldn't an engine problem make the sound with revs, not just movement? Going to mechanic next Wednesday. I'm still driving her til then - is that okay, do you think? Did a search, and I could be reading for days on this subject! Thanks in advance.

Speedometer cluster? Mine did the same until I replaced it.

Thanks. I'll check that out too. I had the appointment at the mechanic's for oil change, general maintenance already set up, so I will just add this on to the list.
