grey steering wheel

My cars previous owner must have ripped off the leather because I have a rubber wheel. Anyone have a good condition leather wheel in grey? i may be interested in the wrx MOMO wheel if it is a bolt on thing. In case of the MOMO wheel, anyone have info on that? Stock isn't that sweet looking, but i just don't like a slippery wheel while I am driving.

p.s. It will be a couple of weeks before I can afford anything, so please throw some options at me.

momo wheels are easy and will run you about 100-125 plus shipping. I will have a stock wheel in a couple of weeks $75 shipped.

I haven't had much luck finding any momo's with a airbag still in them, or good looking stockers. With the age of the leather that a stock wheel would have on it, and the minimal effort required to do the momo swap, I think I am now looking for a momo. I am selling a kenmore washer and dryer set on craigslist to allow me to afford a momo if anyone has a line on one. Maybe I should start a new thread for this?

Kind of a stupid question, but will the airbag work properly or at all given the difference in year of cars?

sicksubie, I this the same fitting wheel as the known to fit 02 era sti wheels? I assume it is, but just need to ask. I just sold my washer and dryer tonight, sso I could afford your wheel if it fits (splines, tapped cruise control stalk holes, etc).

to Romantt8, (not a stupid question) if you do a search you will find that (as far as I know) there is a voltage difference that keeps the airbags from being compatible.

Thanks guys for look'n out! I did get a wheel, installed it w/o airbag connected, and I am super happy w/ it. I wasn't happy w/ the time it took for sicksubie to get back to me at first (found out he is a really busy guy), but he proved to be strait and does have (as far as I know) a really nice wheel for sale. I hope someone sees it and buys it from him to install it in their SVX.
Anyway, thanks to all of you for the help and offers.
happy SVXing!
