What is this?

This wire comes through under my drivers side panel thing, goes under my back seats and into my trunk. Sorry if this was already covered but if it was I couldn't find it.

It is an alpine AI net connector. They are used for controlling multi disk changers, Xm and sirus tuners, and HD radio tuners to a compatible Alpine head unit. Its an after market piece, and not from factory.

Car was off so it must've been from the flash. I don't think they light up.

They're the turn signals, they should be on when you turn the headlights on and blink when you signal.

You're assuming the wrong lights. He means the side lights. Which have a reflector on them, making them look lit up in the pic in his sig.

However they definitely do have a light and do light up red at night. Or are supposed to. Mine do.

Only USDM SVXes have lights in the sides at the back.

Outside the USA, the turn signals are completely independant of the headlights. They stay off until you signal. Then they blink.
