Rear transmission seals SVX to Outback
Are the rear seals(driveshaft) different between the SVX 4eat and a 1996 Legacy Outback 2.5 4eat? I noticed mine to be leaking more than it should dripping all over exhaust smoking like crazy. Any responses are well appreciated thanks Damian

-did you clean them first?
if yes, did you also grease them? -did you notice a little spring acting like a rubberband inside? are you sure it is the seals and not the side plates?

If you're reffering to the extension oilseal, they're the same, but the one that came on the transmission might be damaged. The subaru part # is 806735200 and they run anywhere from $10-15 from dealers.
