Hello, mi name is joe, I have for sail mercedes car, diesel, no smog ever never. It needs a new engine, I have replaced it once already, but these engines run forever! Only 185,281 miles, just brake in for this engine, car was also rear ended and is needs minor body work, this guy with no teeth and one eye said he could have it lock god ass neu for only small $, seets are shreaded, but people give away seats in perfect condition all the tyme. Also neads paint, it was blue, but drivers door is maroon and passanger door is dark read. Car never bean in crash.

This iz the mercedes of diasels, nicer than any car avilable today, it gats 100 mpg on free garbage, does the dishes, washes its self just like my kat, makes a great gaurd dog growling at intruders, it even taks care of my wifes "special needs" whn I am unable, there is a spering sticks up through passengar saet. Wy buy someone elses problem, fooer $20,000 thes kar kan be rebuialt to brand new goodness, a new mercedes costs so much more and is no nicar! Some new mercadies cost $100,000 or more! I won't seel it until it finashes cleaning the hausze.

A pun on the jarquarses who try to sell stuff with BS! I had a guy once try to sell me an old (1988?) F250 2wd with a bad engine and a rather large tree on the hood for $1500! He insisted that this was a good deal and he had paid more for just a core engine in the past... These trucks with good body and bad engine are worth $500.

#2, I talked to this guy about a 1949 chevy panel truck, he wanted $2500 and uppon asking said that is was complete with no major body damage...I drove 160 miles one way to look at it, when I got there I found a truck missing one of the super rare rear doors, other door was severely damaged, no engine, transmission open to the elements, no interrior, and several large holes cut in the body, generally thrashed

I read so many ads...

Front end crash damage...

...never been in wreck(huh???)

200,000 miles on car, 100,000 on replaced engine...

...it is a diesel, these engines last forever!(WTF? Looks like it is almost time for a new engine )

This car cost $60,000 new (yeah, in 1985 when it was brand new and had a waranty, so freakin what?)

All it needs is a new cap and rotor (riiiiiiiiiight, so you are selling a car than needs $15 in parts to be worth $2500 more and you aren't gonna go put them on?)

Heres a genral rule of thumb. The more typos / idiodic abreviations and spellings an ad contains the more unreliable the source is.

I have been extremely lucky with car deals. But there hasn't been that many. 6 cars in the last 30 years, only one was bought new.

The 92 SVX I got was a dream come true. I was expecting just shy of a parts car to fix the 94 back up, and it shows up from Minnesota with a perfect interior, and "almost" mechanically mint. (A strong tick in a lifter.. cleared it up with advice from this site to do a engine oil flush. Brakes and rotors were shot. Fixed in one day. Other than that...Perfection.) Documented to the hilt, and a 1 family car. (One buys it new, then sells it to his brother.)

I don't know what I would do showing up to what you've seen.

True... the guy I drove 160 miles to see sounded good enough, no telltale signs, and price matched claimed condition.

Guy in Santa Cruiz I just talked to on the phone.

Another good rule of thumb, anyone who starts with "today is your luckey day" is full of it
