Now there's a refreshing change of perspective for you. Some people are confined to one car by budget or simply by choice, but not everyone has to, or choose to, live that way.
Id rather have just one payment and have an all around car. My S4 passed many a 'burban when the going got bad and had fun in the snow etc in it. Might not have gone as far as your Yukon/Tahoe/Denali/Suburban/Escalade but You wouldnt have gotten her out of your rear mirror in that Fbody my friend.

To each his own, as they say. I prefer having more than one "specialized" vehicle to get me where i need to go. I'm a car guy, and an extreme sports guy. Claim what you want, but a car like an STi will not cut it for me. It's fast in the summer, but does not have the styling, performance potential, or head turning qualities that I look for in my prized machine. And yes, it will handle your average NE snowfall more than adequately. However it will not get me to the summit of Blue Mountain with a foot of snow on the ground, nor can it pull a 18ft+ sport boat.

I've made stronger cars strain to read the Blakbird's rear plate. Best piece of advice I can give is one that many a 'Stang owner have learned the hard way. NEVER EVER underestimate an LS1.
