Well the trans was weak when I bought the car. I knew this much. I was always afraid of launching the car for this reason. Just before I went to the track, I wanted to get a few practice launches in. The first one worked great and felt awsome. The second one.. well lets just say the car didn't move anymore once i tried it

OK, so drag race launches on a known weak tranny- I don't think a 4EAT would survive that either.

That is if u can get ur auto to launch at 4500 rpms without doing a neutral drop
