New guy with a few ?
HI !
I'm new here: 1995 Polo Green SVX LSi AWD with 94k miles. I'm not surprised the cam covers leaking since they lay flat, but can't see how to pull them off since they'll hit the frame rails once I pull them off ? I bought the seals, but what is the trick since it seems the cam gear bump on the cover won't clear. Not even sure about the bolts coming out. Suggestions ? Also, my 'out temp' light is out. Is that section of the dash removable ? Thirdly, who makes an easy to install tranny cooler since I understand they overheat and crap out really soon ? Thanks folks, Robert |

I know two are covered already - use search for 'immortal suby & gaskets', then 'cooler install.' Regarding the outside temp issue you need to be a bit more clear what you mean - does the display not work or is it the button itself not lighting up?
The covers come right off with a little jiggling, I've done a few sets and they aren't as difficult as one might imagine. Hopefully you also purchased new sealing washers, many times they are the real culprits.

The actual light bulb that illuminates the words ' out temp' is out. Its in the panel with all the buttons. NOT the actual digits, but the little bulb that lights the button to push in the array of 9 or 12 buttons...

I think you may find a few notes on the panel if you search, I seem to recall reading about it some time ago. There are a couple bulbs listed behind the panel but I'm not certain if they are what you need. Once apart most bulbs and/or leds are available at Radio Shack.
