Got The Hitch Guys!!!

Very, very cool! $280 (tax and parts included)! I can tow 2000lb if I want:

Ahh, Glenns Welding, I've heard of them, I think I used to always pass by their place up in Lynnwood and see all their ads about custom hitches. Cool.

Doesn't look that bad at all, and better than having one of our great SVX enthusiasts have to sell it and buy a jeep.

Well that's the first (and probably last) time I've seen a hitch on an SVX. I'll pray to the tranny gods for you.

p.s. you should stop by my house on your way down to Florida.

I think it looks great nick & If you change the tranny fluid before you're trip & let it cool down after the mountians I think you will be fine. The trannys are real strong so long as the fluid does not get burnt.
I thought of getting a similar hitch for pulling my little 12" boat , but I got the Buick back so I think I wont for now.

Thanks guys! I'll flush the tranny and the engine before I go. I'll also change an axle and a rear bearing. Those upgrades alone should help. I'll have a friend with me so we might take the bike off the trailer and one of us could ride it through the mountain passes. That's 450lb worth of towing off the H-6. Earl, could we still swap my bearing at your place? I'll bring some beer
