Talking Not the first but...

YAY!
Next week I get my 5spd, WRX tranny! with a B&M short throw shifter!
I am so happy I could spit (although I normally spit when I am mad so maybe I messed up the saying) This week is the Koni suspension, motorsport drop springs, and stainless lines, next week tranny.
I think that is the end of my spending for the car for a while (I have to borrow all the money to do this, so until I repay people...)
YAY!!!
I can''t wait,
KTR is doing the swap, and Smallcar is providing the kit!
I have been grinning for a whole week, my god this is great!

He's not 'downing on you'. He's just pointing out that the smallcar kit is mostly worthless

I would have to agree with that as well.

Great to hear that you are getting a 5MT!!!

One thing about your dignature though... If you can manage 400hp out of an EG33 Naturally Aspirated, I will fly out to wherever you are and kiss your @$$.... I am aiming for a much more reasonable 290 - 300hp... And even that is going to take alot of work and $$$ that I just don't have now... Infact when I do that, IF I do it at all, I will be using a new engine and building it from scratch. Atleast replacing my gears with STi RA gears, but hopfully some more STi owners will crash and total their cars so I can take their tranny's

Heres the thing guys I AM 19! so I have like 20 years to complete my project. I alsothink 300hp is awesome which is why I am shooting for 310ish the last 75ish hp will be juice, which is still hp but the car will be a daily at around 310ish. Right now I calculate me being at 240-50 and I want to have a head pacage done, (port and polish, new high comp valves, high rev springs, gude cam shaft ,etc which should net me 50hp about, and I still have to do the ECU tune stage 2 w./ MAF! hopefully when I grad college I will have a good job that can finish off my project.

what have you done to get to 240ish? Stock SVXs are lucky to put down 170- 175 at the wheels.

Is that extra 10-20hp from the cold air intake or the "crazy magnaflow exhaust"?

Tom

Cool

ohhh, it sounds like the old people are getting jealous that they are going to die sooner then I am, and that I have a jump start on the SVX that they could never have. Guys lets not see whos is bigger, it is a very petty thing to do.
as to the HP figures, so far I am in brake or to the flywheel. With the new trans and a few other little things, I hope to put the power to the wheels.
