I have a PS1, and the only games i own are GT and GT2... thats because they are the only games with a SVX in them.

get yer hands on the new NFS. nothing cures some road rage like running from the cops at 180mph in a McLaren F1 LM! the engine sounds in the game are great, especially the Ferrari's. it makes Gran Turismo seem very boring. i wish the SVX was in the PS2 version of GT.

I agree that the game is fun but all of the engines sound basically the same. Some are more throaty and some whine a little more but they are all basically the same. If you want great engine sound play Project Gotham Racing for XBox.

C'mon, we all know that Pole Position on Atari was the pinnacle of racing video games...

Which was the old arcade game where you drive a red car and you could drive it into the back of a truck to avoid the police? That was my favorite driving game ever.

Mike and I have decided that he's thinking of SpyHunter, which is indeed one of the great games of all time...

Yes, and the car is white... you drive it into the back of a red truck.

I have a dreamcast and I can play them on Bleem. Amazing emulator. Better graphics. As for NFS HP2, not yet. I will see who has it first. I just got a hold of an apple g3 from a friend. I want to play with it tonight. Just dumped in my extra SCSI drives in. Took me a while to figure out how to open the damn thing.

"Sega GT" for the Dreamcast and XBox have an SVX in it also.

Spy Hunter. Midway published it. About a year ago they resurrected it with a PS2 version that's really slick. It was recently released for the GameCube, as well.

Shameless Plug

Okay, since we're on the subject of games, here it is.

My first published game is on shelves as of today. As far as I know, you're all old enough to play it, so I don't feel bad about plugging it here.

Really, I'm so friggin' excited to have worked on this game, and I can't tell you how happy I am to see it finished and released.

The customer reviews on this page are worthless, but mostly positive.

I have a free rental coupon for that game so I'll have to check it out sometime. Anyway, while we'reon the subject of games i have to plug Grand Theft Auto VICE CITY. IT comes out this month. Over 30 weapons, over 150 kinds of vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles, helicopters), TWICE the size of GT3, interior and exterior areas, 8 hours of music, OH MAN I CANT WAIT!

Pockets you worked on RF2?????

I was incredibly excited for red faction one after reading about the geo-mod engine, but after playing it, I can only say that it was a "pretty good" FPS... the geo-mod was not nearly all that it was cracked up to be, and I found myself wishing that the vehicles were accessible in deathmatch mode. i'm curious to try RF2 though.. what can you tell me that the website can't?
