We done been spammed...

...but at least it's insteresting spam.

I just took a trip through the USTCC website and it's cool stuff. What a cool variety of eligible cars - is there a competing series under the SCCA?

What are the licensing restrictions?

I didn't mean to spam just letting others know there is a racing series such as this (helps users considering racing and may increase our audience).

SCCA has some similar racing venues such as the speedvision worldchallenge but it doesn't allow hybrids/engine swaps that is very common these days. The SCCA series has much more coverage and awareness and has races broadcasted on SpeedTV where we don't have such yet.

The licensing restrictions are typical just allowing for a competition license...however the entry fees and costs of competition are far less than SCCA's series making this much more affordable to the amatuer looking to step up to a national series (we plan on having 2 east coast races next year and another in the midwest).

Sorry...

...I didn't mean to offend you by calling your post spam. It sounds really interesting to me, and I'll keep an eye on the series. Again, I really dig the variety of eligible cars.

i didn't take any offense so no need to apologize for anything...i also love to watch so many different cars duke it out...it's more fun especially when each car has to have a unique driving style to make the fast (learn all these different lines, etc.)...everytime i make it to one event i always try to get some lap rides (you have to pay for them and the driver gets more track time) and enjoy how fast a car i wouldn't consider is (i rode along in some old volvo that was as quick as my crx and was amazed)

NASA needs a series for lightweights. You know, like, for example...oh, I don't know...

...well, let's just pick a random small car like the Justy.

...which reminds me that I need to add 'Justy roll cage' to the weekend's shopping list.

Is it ok if I post information on the USTCC or other Subaru-related Nasa Events (like driving schools or other amateur racing series)? I was always wondering it I'd be interested in watching some races or taking schools until I met someone else who told me what to do. Thanks.
