Absolutely Dave.

I wasn't sure of what the connector is called, but a barbed 3/8" connector sounds about right.

Good point Harv. I had that in the back of my mind, but forgot to put it down.

Thanks Earl. I think it's called a barbed 3/8" connector...

Mychailo,

Yes, I've driven the car ~80 miles since doing the coolant bypass. Haven't noticed a huge difference other than a slight improvement in throttle response.

Yup. That's about all I've noticed thus far.

Vacuum Caps

Sealing off the throttle body is easy. These vacuum caps are one of the best investments ever. You'll end up using them everywhere.

Available at many Checker/Schucks/Kragen/Northern Autoparts stores.

You're getting ripped off. You should be paying half that.

thats alaska the most expensive state to live in. but we have no taxes go figure. u should see the prices of cars since there is no tax they jack the prices up so high. higher than what it would be with taxes. but they keep all of it and non goes to the state. rediculoius. funny dealerships buying cost from major companies shipping cars is the same whether it 5 miles away or 6000 miles away. its around $750per car.

Thanks Chike, I've made the formatting changes and I will be moving it into the SVXipedia as soon as I get home from work.
