It might look ok with any grille other than that one (97, Smallcar, or even just painted). Even then, I think it goes down a little too much.

IMO, if you're going to use the waterfall grille unpainted, the eyelids really need to start on the grille and then go to the corner of the lights. So it might have to be 2 pieces (and then people with 97 grilles could just use the part that goes on the light).

Anyways, here's a quick chop of what I was thinking:

those are pretty nice, looks sorta like the 97-98 nissan 240sx headlights. How about a eyelid that wraps around the corner signal lights to?

I always liked the way that model Nissan looked too
We thought about having them wrap around, but one problem
is the gap between the headlight and corner lite tends to vary
quite a bit from car to car.
