SVX on Ski's Jan-Feb 2008

I think I want to gather a meet for January or February 2008, depending on the weather, for folks to take a trip up to the Pocono's in Pennsylvania for a ski/snowboard/heavy drinking event. I think it would make a great weekend event, one night in a hotel at Montage Mountain, get there around noon on a saturday, ski the day/night, drink heavily at night, and leave Sunday noon-ish.

If anyone else would be interested, post and maybe we can make this happen!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, scotch in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming HOOOOYA !!!!!

Definitely interested. Hopefully we can get some more solid locations nailed down for the purpose of getting a tangible cost? I know I like to plan my spending out, and between the lift ticket and hotel, this can be quite pricey.

Better wax up the new board! And make sure my boots still fit me... They should, I got em last season.

A date I would be able to make is right after Christmas...I mean "The Holidays" to be politically correct. I have off from school for about 2 weeks. I think until Jan. 2nd I have off.

There's a meet in your neck of the woods every year at least. It's called Reading. Then there's a half dozen mini meets through-out the rest of the year that we'll come up with excuses to make so we can hang out and drink heavily.

Awesome, you can be our entertainment. Something to laugh at! (Just kidding, please don't be offended)

See, I think further away from the holidays would be better, because I know I won't have the money for it immediately following the holidays. I don't care which place you choose, its going to be a long drive for me either way...

But, I LOVE to board, so I'll be there if at all possible.

Craig

Would love to but I work every weekend during ski season. It enables me and the family to ski free virtually everywhere I've tried to go in the past 13 years. Sorta makes up for those 5:15am mornings drives/rides.

Your abs would certainly get a workout.

Plus you may have to take me to the hospital
