Hey team,
My 95 just hit 100K and I wanted to upgrade to better ATF. Looking for suggestions. Thanks, Adrian

I am using Vavoline AFT and Lucas transmission additive and change it every year at 30K miles. I think that changing it every 30k miles is important and the Lucas additive increases the wear properties of the AFT.

I'd say Mobil 1 as it has the highest flash and fire points verified (211 I think is the flash point so at that point it begins to break down) independently which B&M and Redline don't (or at least I couldn't find). Most ATF starts to break down around 200 degrees. In my 95 with a digital gauge in the pan I can easily run about 100 above outside temps in normal daily driving. Plus it is readily available and compatable with any Dextron/Merc out there.
Not that B&M and Redline aren't good, I just like to have a lab verify the claims on the bottle before I put it in. They are kinda speciality fluids and aren't real popular in the mass market due to cost so its tough to find independent info about 'em.

Outstanding. Thanks B.
Tell me more about your ATF sensor. Easy to install?
