the mileage and the condition of the car would determine what your gonna pay. i usually get around 27mpg with about 90% highway driving. more info on the condition of the car will get you a better estimate, i think 7000$ is alittle to much for a '92 though

city driving will kill your mileage. My car gets horrible city mileage but pretty good highway mileage. 7k is alot to ask for a 92. Give us some more details on the car and we can tell you more.

Gas mileage is not bad, concidering its a 3600lb car with 230hp, i average 18 in 90%city with AC on max. but the price seems high, i paid 3400 for my '95, it had over 140k miles but lets face it subarus last a long time if you take any kind of care of them.

I agree, and I consider the SVX a reliable car. Mine has served me very well and never let me down.

But I will point out that the SVX requires more care than your typical Subaru, and the parts you'll need to give it that care are more expensive.

Yeah the parts are definitley more expensive than alot of other cars. Certain parts are also hard to find. But thats why its great we have this network. People here can help ya find whatever ya need.

Very true. As you learn more about what makes your SVX tick, it helps you diagnose problems when they arise...

I kinda like this aspect a lot as it brings me closer to my SVX.

HERE

There seem to be a lot of people lately trying to buy an SVX for cheap and not having any money left over for repairs. We all know that it takes a lot of money to properly take care of the SVX and if abused will cost you a lot more.
