After I bought it? Cracked radiator, leaking hoses, bad bearings...

(Served me right for having the car delivered. To the dealer's credit, they answered my complaint by shipping new parts, without charge.)

Also found a pair of gardening gloves inside the left-side tail light acess panel, and a set of light-gauge jumper cables inside the right.

But no cupholder.

A golf ball, under the rear seat.
Lots of snails under the intake manifold.

My best discoveries are listed below in chronological order:
1) Kinetic Concepts SVX site
2) Yahoo SVX Club site
3) The SVX World Network site

Actually all those sites helped me to become a member of the SVX Family. It is all the wonderful people who want/own/drive an SVX, that makes this car such a terrific experience.
So, thank you, to all the SVXers out there.

I found a full birds nest under my intake manifold.

Cleared it out and 6 months later, some small bird with exceptional taste in cars built another!

That one takes the cake! I had a friend back in college who once found a McDonald's biscuit and a squirrel's nest in his '87 Audi Coupe. I laughed my a$$ off watching him pull all of the junk out of his engine bay! He let the car sit for over a month when he went home for the Xmas vacation...

when I had owned mine for about a week, me and a friend were driving around, when something started to smell REALLY bad. I pulled over on the side of the road, popped the hood, and something started smokin gfrom under the "H6" engine cover, after teh little bit of smoke cleared, i looked under it, and there was a mouse nest under the engine block. That horrific smell was a fried mouse, evedently, it didn't get out in time, I don't think i had laughed so hard in my life!

My mother in an old Ford Escort once had dead baby mice spit out of the floor heaters. when she brought it in, it was discovered that there was a whole family of dead mice in a nest that was in the heating system. there was a missing grill someplace that allowed them inside.

Almost went of the road while it was happening cause she freaks at mice

I don't recall finding much of anything in Penny, except for the quarters wedged in the passenger seat rails, finally pulled the seat to get those out.

The silver one was full of dirt, cigarette butts, coins, wrappers, a bottle of men's cologne. I think that kid lived in the car, literally.

Surpisingly, I didn't find anything at all. Except for 2 needle looking things under my floor mats. I think those are for when you wash the mats, you hang them somewhere..?

Oh yes, it's not actually a find. But the 'wood' panels around the heater vents. They are all brown but one! and it's the purpleish color! Makes me wonder why they had to put another panel on there.

Thats all I found, but I lost one good cd, and a bunch of change.

Poor car hates me
