Apples on the other hand are red and firm when ripe, if in fact it is a red apple, and not a green apple while oranges are juicer, and orange in color.
They also have different tastes and smells to them.

at least that one acknowledges being pointless. All I see here is another

"how about this car v/s the SVX?" Thread, which, on an SVX FORUM....is to have the expected results.....

To Me At Least, They Are The Two Most Interesting Cars Sold In The Ninties.

They Have Some Styling In Common.
They Both Have Head Chopper Seatbelts.
The Svx Is The Prettiest Car Subaru Ever Made.

To Me No Other Subaru Ever Came Close.
I Have Owned 5 Or 6 Subarus
They Used To Be Inexpensive Very Reliable And Easy To Work On.
They Are Still Reliable, But There Is More Stuff To Break.
I Can't Even Figure Out How To Change The Sparkplugs.

One Of My 92 Svx's Came Without A Spoiler
So I Put A 3000gt Spoiler On The Trunk Lid.

I've Got A Couple Of Hood Scoops From A 3000gt I Am Thinking About Puting On Its Hood.

In The Fifties My Favorite Cars Were The 57 Chevy And The Ford Thunderbird.

Apples And Oranges, Maybe.

But Then Barbie Benton And Briget Bardot
Would Be Apples And Oranges Too.

All Wonderful.

But An Old Svx Would Be A Lot Eaiser To Restore.

Well I Think, I'll Try To Find That Thread About Napa Hood Supports For My Svx's.

I think that the VR4 Variable spoiler is sweet. I would love to have one just for that. The SVX is just awesome stock car. Built much better that any Mitsu or Dodge product.

I feel this statement is entirely too subjective. The 3000gt VR4 stock is amazing in performance and aesthetics. I own a 92 SVX LSi, my parents own a 94 3000gt VR4. I'd take the VR4 over my SVX any day. Biggest reason, automatic -_-. The 94 VR4 is a 6speed manual with twin turbos. And our VR4 happens to be sitting on about 425 hp *whistles*

dual GT357's
550cc injectors
centerforce clutch
upgraded fuel pump + fuel management system
Greddy profec b EBC
K&N Intake

That's a longer performance mod list than I see on SVX's, probably since the aftermarket support isn't really out there. I would say the SVX's potential is bigger than that of the 3000gt (.3L more displacement, 3500lbs compared to 3800lbs), but it would require a lot of money to put the SVX into the performance range of the VR4. Also, as much as I love my SVX body style, the 3000gt is one of the sexiest modern non-supercar body styles

I don't think we will see SVXi in the range of the VR4 for a while. There are already 3/S cars running in the upper 10s.....
