I'm still old school with newgroups. Pop the video you are seeking in the global search, and peruse the thumbnails. It alutomatically even unrars for you on easynews.com, and operates at the +5Mb download bandwidth I have. Usually around 6.3 Mb as an average. They claim they can keep up with a 20Mb connection, but who has one of them?

Not bad, and you are annonymously logged in as long as you don't upload. Cost $9.95 a month for 20 gigabytes, with automatic renewals at the same price if you get greedy within the month and go over. They also bank your remaining bytes if you don't use them up in the month. That's pretty cool too.

Of course... trial basis of course to "sample" the video before buying. (Looking nervously around room for cameras.)

I do. 38Mb partial T3 at the office, and an 11Mb up/down connection from my house to the office. I would have done the 45Mb connection to the house, but the equipment would have been over $10K.

That's what I want. I want a connection so blistering fast, my system gets a nose bleed. As for the uplink, I think mine is either 256k, 512k, or just plain out slow. One of the three. I haven't found a provider out here with fiber just yet. Still looking. There's close to 2 million people here. There's got to be optics out here. Maybe Cable will up the anti from 5M in the coming months. I know they have the room. Their system is only a couple of years old.
