Welcome. Your pulley's about to come apart and leave you stranded. Do a search here and you'll find numerous threads on replacement options and procedures.

Thanks drew. How do you keep the crank from turning?

i.... I!!... did it the ghetto way... i rigged up a breaker bar to the ratchet... and rested the bar towards the drivers side of the engine bay... flicked the key on for a split second and broke the crank pulley loose.... (i bet this way is not highly recommended... but it worked..) and for tightening it, i bought a strap wrench, but i ended up not using it... (again, not recommended) i just grabbed on and torqued as much as i could by holding it...... find better directions elsewhere

I'm too chicken to try that way. Thanks though. There's got to be a better way. I tried to search in this forum or others but I couldn't find any. Anybody?

There are 300+ hits on a search of "crank pulley," and 10 on "crank pulley removal" alone. You checked all those?

Edit: If uncertain or reluctant, you could always just take it to a mechanic.
