What are these parts?
One of these parts was in the glove box when I first bought my SVX, and the other one I found in the trunk after it was in the shop for awhile. Anyone know where these pieces go? They must be trim pieces from somewhere, but from where?

the first one for sure is to cover the bolts on your seat rails, the second one i beleive is the same thing, and the last one looks like a clip for a radar detector.

The holes are for the suction cups. This could have been used for a radar or a compass mount.

Good call you guys. I found where the seatrail bolt cover went right away after I read that, so its back in place. I threw away the stupid suction cup thing, I didnt recognize it as a radar detctor holder, but I definetly see it now. Thanks guys.

For future reference, does your camera have a macro mode? Using that will help the camera focus on close up objects. A well focused image will not need to be so large

Update: Forgot about this thing. This was also in the trunk when I got my SVX. Its dated February 22, 2005. Its made by Transtar Industries Inc. The number on it is 13615BX, and it says "Subaru Pan Gasket". Is this for the oil pan or something? The tranny was rebuilt before I got it, is this possibly a transmission pan that was left over from that?
Earthworm: Sorry, no macro mode that I know of. Giant pictures must do. |

Thanks for the info!
I just did a Google search for transtar + 13615bx and it lead me to a pdf (atsubr4ax04.pdf) that has some nice exploded views of our 4EAT transmission. The company sells rebuild kits as well as individual parts. Yes, according to the pdf, that is a gasket for the oil pan of the "1st design" of the 4EAT transmission. Go grab the pdf if nothing else.
