SVX Locked me out....after all I've done for her!!!!

Earned my SVX Spark plug wings tonight....what a treat!

When I put the battery back in, I heard the satisfying sound of all of the locks activating.............with my keys still inside.

Haven't seen my spare in a VERY long time, remote is on keyring inside locked car.

Hood is up, any way to unlock it from the eng compartment?????

If there is, would someone PM me? I can see why we wouldn't want to broadcast to the world how to "boost" a SVX.

Thanks!

One of two solutions:

1: Call your local Suby dealer and he/she can cut a new key from blanks using your VIN.

2: Break the smallest window. It may be the lowest costing window to replace.

I have a new respect for my Dry Cleaner. They give rubberized wire hangars....just rigid enough to break into your own SVX....If you know EXACTLY where to fish the wire in.

New plugs are firing fine and Royal Purple is coarsing through oil ports for the first time!
