OT: Infiniti FX35/45

Have you guys seen this thing? This, I believe, is now my favorite car being produced right now. If I wasnt poor I would be at the dealer right now buying one. 315hp, awd, vdc, and lots of room. What more could you ask for??

Infiniti

Kinda reminds me of a AMC Eagle. Minus the wood trim of course.

HAHA... I was talking to my dad about it on the phone today and he was like "is that the one that looks like the AMC Eagle?" LOL.

You know what? It does look like an AMC Eagle! My first thought was that of an "earth shoe" - taller in the front than in the back. I've seen the commercial for it and it looks cool but that pic makes it look a little cartoonish IMHO.

I do love the power and drivetrain that bugger has though!

what more could i ask for?
how about an SUV with a 450hp twin turbo V8 that can lap the Nurburgring faster than a Skyline GT-R.......
it ain't real pretty, but it doesn't need to be.

Well I guess I should have specified "affordability."

i'm actually really liking the Honda Element.. I kind of dig the boxy look. Unfortunately it only has like 160 horses and about the same amount of torque.. I'd want a big six or maybe a turbo four under the hood to generate a little more twist at the wheels so i could use it to tow things..

Alan - a loyalist to the end!

Wow, impressive stats though, I heard they were coming out with an SUV, I didn't realize it was going to be so worthy of its marque!

Affordability is still a relative term. Last time I checked Infinity was a luxury brand and I'm sure this thing isn't an option for 95% of the population (practically speaking as far as what the average family can afford on car payments). Even the Nissan Murano (which I think it's based on) is borderline out of price range for a lot of us on here.

They are nice looking machines though with some great stats!
