fridays accident
well i got into a small fender bender friday at wall mart. i was backing out of the parking space and i couldnt see past this huge dodge van well some 80 something year old women didnt see me back up and and i hit the side of her car. not verry fast or hard but enough to do damage.
well i have a 1" hole torn in the rear of my bumper and minor fender damage i think it can be buffed out. and her huge 1999 cacilac devil barely got damaged. she has already called me saturday saying that it has 1,400 worth of damage and needs a rental car for 3 days,, i was like yea right talk to my insurance company. the cop came out and we exchange insurance information and nether me or her got the ticket so i think it was both our faults. moral of the story whene backingout get out and look around a object before proceeding . im verry up set it wil be tuff finding a replacement and maching the factory paint

Ouch!
Solar....sorry to hear about your run-in. Those parking lots are so hard to get in and out of without something happening. Hope you can patch 'er up good as new. Watch out for grannies in DeVille's....I mean, "devils"!

yea my svx is flawless in every way .. garage kept.. never see rain or dirt. and now it has no bumper !!!!!!!!!!!!!
the car is a 92 with original paint and its perfect not any more,, im going to cry =< is there any aftermarket rear bumpers out there for our cari would really like to get this bumper butits only a proto type i think http://www.subarusvx.com/images/carp.../silver009.jpg

That's part of the reason I prefer to back into parking spaces when possible. If I hit something when it's right in front of me, then I deserve whatever I get.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Hopefully, it'll be put back as good as new. Meanwhile, they shot mine over the weekend. I won't go pick it up today, though, since I don't suspect salt and chemicals will do well on the new paint. Did have fun driving to work today, though, in the "Evil Twin." BWAHAHAHAH!!
