MWMII (Again)
I know Reading is on everybody's mind but I think we should be thinking about a Mid West meet, possibly combined with Cookout III.
If we give time for the dust to settle after the Reading meet, I think late May or early June would be perfect. What do y'all think.

Sounds good to me. Late June would be good for us. Be careful on the cookout thing. I just read a post in another thread that had the dinosaurs flatulating themselves into extinction. "No thanks, I'll pass on the chile dogs."

That would be a great idea combining the two...the MWM i arranged had pretty good turnout, but there is only soo much to do, if we combine it withthe cookout...that would be great.
It'll also be a good time to show off some new goodies

I think this would be a great idea. I'm not going to the Reading meet. I just got back from picking my car up from Syracuse and driving it home. I'm in NO hurry to make another 750 mile trip ( even though she drives beautifully ).
Where did you have in mind?

Well early june would work for me,as long as its not too long of adrive. I dont neccisarily trust my SVX yet, its got some miles on it

The first Midwest Meet took place in Rockford, about an hour drive from Madison, and roughly 2 hours from Chicago depending where you are. The Cookouts have always taken place in Delavan, WI. I know there are at least 5+ other svx's in rockford, but whenever there is a meet or something happening never fails that i can never find any of them. June would be good for me, weather will be nice, school will be out.

if my car is back, i'd go around the wisconsin, illinois area.... and it seems like i'll be around here for most part of the summer too...

In any case, I've got a bunch of friends with summer homes in Delevan, so if you're meeting there, just let me know and I'd love to stop by and envy your rides.

planning on it, ill be leaving from school probs with doug and lwin, if it works out, last year i couldnt go cause i had 3 tests that coming Monday...fingers crossed
