Smile What a sight!

Today I let my friend drive my car home while I was driving her car(96 Honda Civic).

For the first time I saw it.....

Today I saw the true beauty of the SVX in motion. Damn it is a sexy car! She was driving with the windows down so I was gettin the full SVX effect. I couldn't stop looking at it in my rear-view mirror, and watching it go past me. The curves and profile of the car are so attractive... even better ,when it's moving. Then as I looked around at a stop light...I never noticed how many stares the SVX actually got until I was outside the SVX looking at everybody looking at it. For a second there, I felt like that wasn't my car and I became jealous and stared at it as if I wished that was my car (kinda like you do if a ferrari or Lamborghini pull up next to you). And Damn! It IS my car! I'm so happy!

Has anyone ever experienced this, or am I crazy?

Talking You're not crazy!

You're not crazy. Our cars are beautiful and unique. I get stared at all the time in my car. At first I thought maybe I was cute or something but then I just realized that I have a pretty car. LOL

I have never noticed anyone staring at my car. However, my wife did mention that it did get a few double takes when we went out for a Christmas gala back in December.

I usually notice when the driver and passenger want to get a second look. I can see them talking and looking at the SVX with questions on their faces. What is that car? Usually in stop and go traffic on Rt 80. It always puts a smile on my face.

Come to the Reading meet. If you think ONE is beautiful, you should watch a string of 20 or 30 winding its way through the PA countryside. It's breathtaking!

EDIT: AND, you should see the looks on the Amish folk's faces.

I love having the SVX. I think its the best car except sometimes I cant help but feel that its always in danger of being broken in or keyed. Not that I live in a bad neigborhood, but people these days just envy the suby. Like the other day I got a car wash and I parked it in a empty parking lot near a dead end. I parked in a way that it was across 4 parking spaces, like showcase style. I looked at it and I said "Damn she's pretty!". Then my friend mentioned that it had a ticket to be stolen if i left it there for long, so we left. LoL.

I think that is a sure way to get it keyed.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

An SVX looks better filthy dirty than most cars do sparkling clean.

IMHO, anyway . . .
