hard on the tranny!

before i put my new tires on ill do a small one with my svx....just dont tell them its a 5speed and they will believe you can do it easy. With the auto you would be putting a lot of stress on the tranny using the brake/ebrake to get sideways...ill just get a slick surface and dump it a little with the wheel turned..ive never seen an SVX do it but with my friends beater TSI AWD we do it all the time! Its fun to beat on cars isnt it...just dont be surpised of the repercussions involved.

How can you do a burnout with AWD?! Do you put the bumper against a wall or what?

With more horsepower (or less traction) than the SVX has.

I suppose if you put on much skinnier tires, or some made out of a hard plastic, you could burn out all four tires on the SVX from a stop. :P

What do you think about 4 spares with the treads covered in Armor All? I think that would provide some good wheelspin.

Mike,

If I remember you did this just before you got the tranny rebuilt, correct?

4wheel burn out

That's alot of smoke........
I've heard from serveral techs say the SVX was detuned slightly so we coudln't do burn outs. however exactly what was done ( if anything) remains to vary.
I think it was mainly to save the tranny from imploding. Or exploding as Mike's car looks like it's about to do......... with a 5 speed it would be easier.. find a nice rain soaked parking lot.. SPIN SPIN SPIN..

my tranny just Stopped so I didn't get to have any fun with it..

wasn't about to do that on the rebuilt one..

SVX1999

Green95 you have got to have a huge collection of pics and everything SVX..
GOod job

You know the more i thought about it, The more i dont want to do it to the new one. ID rather just rip a whole in the old one, i cant get any money for the old tranny anyways.....unless i can sell it on ebay or somthing. IT just slips like crazy and no one wants a good core that needs to be rebuilt. Im all talk
