Weird Brake Pedal feel
I park in my driveway which has a very slight incline. I usually use the parking brake. For a few months now when I start the car I get a really weird jerky and strong pulse in the brake pedal. When I actually pull out and start driving it has always been fine. Just wondering if it is something to be concerned with?

Re: Weird Brake Pedal feel
Maybe the e-brake is sticking after release. Try parking without it and see if it changes.

Re: Weird Brake Pedal feel
Yes, and just when it's first started after sitting for a while. Goes away immediately when the car starts moving and the brakes get applied. Doesn't happen again unless it is parked for a long time.

Re: Weird Brake Pedal feel
My '97 does the same thing and has for 2 years now. I'd say it's definitely ABS related but not serious, just annoying.

Re: Weird Brake Pedal feel
Ah, maybe. Maybe a bad brake booster check valve or a leak in the booster itself?
