Re: SVX in Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car
The Bennett Collection auction was a field full of cars, in New Hampshire, collected over the years. The 1992 Teal SVX had a slipping transmission, disassembled interior with cracked leather seats and, front end damage. In comparison, a 1974 BMW 2002 went for $460, a 1991 Lotus Elan for $1,652 and a 1990 Audi Quattro Coupe for $1,380. There were some cars, in good shape, that went for more.

Re: SVX in Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car
I thought he was pointing out that "We love to sell and trade stuff".

Yeah, what a wack job. I don't understand why they would print such a confusing piece of writing. Nice picture though.

Re: SVX in Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car
Ok, so let's try to decipher this:
He sold his probably well sorted car for $4000 to another non-smoking, no-strikes psychedelic person. In the auction, a very unsorted car went for roughly 500. Maybe the publication in question did a review of the lots in this auction and he wanted to express that they should have pionted out the price difference in order to inform their viewers of a potentially great trade? Because after all, we love to sell and trade stuff.
