Is it the economy or what?
Have all the euro members gone into hibernation? Or are all our SVX's performing perfectly...
Mind you, that's rich coming from me, I've only done about 500 miles this year in mine. Replaced the battery this year with a Yuasa, which have always been well regarded in the bike world but I now have my doubts they are up to the same quality. My SVX has an aftermarket alarm fitted, and I'd love to disable the damn thing. No one ever listens to them so their main role is to kill car batteries as far as I can see. Anyone tell me which wires to pull? |

Re: Is it the economy or what?
Have a look for the solor chargers that either plug in ciggy lighter or direct to the battery I have a couple of friends who use them and they seem happy with them.
The other option I had on my TVR was a trickle charger that connected directly to the battery and only switched on when needed, ideal if it's in a garage. I've got a cat1 Toad on my SVX and 3 to 4 weeks is enough to drain the battery enough to make starting touch and go, I've got a Bosch battery now as I've used them on my other cars for years and are always reliable.
