Re: hmmm interesting ... custom made coilovers

Any idea how long it might take to get info on a group buy? I'm interested in this as the next thing I had planned on replacing were the struts, but i'm having problems finding OEM ones. If these work well, sign me up!

Re: hmmm interesting ... custom made coilovers

Having done group buys before, especially for large or heavy items, it might be helpful to look for LTL carriers near you who would give you a shipping discount on a large number of packages at once. Some part (probably somewhat substantial based on weight alone) of what is saved in a group buy might get eaten up in re-shipping once they hit the USA.

Regardless, after speaking with Cedric, I have high hopes that these are going to be a great option (93tzlegacy's SVX was the model for these, great pic here http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=58977). Mine are paid for and they'll start on them on Monday- I'll report on how they handle the atrocious roads up here in New England as soon as I have them in.

I'm betting its too soon for him to have got them.
He said his order would start to be built on monday, and I believe it will take a few weeks for it to arrive.

Re: hmmm interesting ... custom made coilovers

Yeah, not here yet- paid with PayPal and with my credit card, so should things go horribly horribly wrong I'm assured of getting my money back. I don't think there will be any issues, I think they are just a bit overwhelmed and pulled the auctions down.

Cool Re: hmmm interesting ... custom made coilovers

When this is done & someone has proved that all is well - this information should be placed into the "suspension section" of "how to do"
